Your duties in this position include:
You will be the manager of the Second Line GRC team, which is in charge of monitoring, tracking, and reporting on risk within the Delta organization. This team is located in the Information Technology department. In order to identify, evaluate, track, report, and validate risks and the organization-wide implementation of controls, this position will collaborate with other Delta organization teams. Technical thought leadership, hands-on solution collaboration, and talent development will all be priorities for the Manager. In order to produce high-quality results, this position provides the team with technical guidance and mentoring. The ideal candidate will be able to lead staff training sessions and workshops in addition to possessing excellent organizational, communication, and management skills.

In collaboration with the Governance Manager, develop, maintain, and support an IT risk management program that includes risk identification, measurement/prioritization, mitigation, and reporting.
oversee the creation and implementation of high-level control architectures, including controls for detection, correction, and prevention.
Use threat assessment data to make risk-taking decisions.
Indicators of the industry are useful for determining technology trends. Evaluate and inform Delta of the potential danger posed by these trends. Make controls recommendations to reduce the risk.
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging threats, translate threats into potential risks, and identify potential risk mitigation strategies in close collaboration with the Threat Intelligence team.
Obtain and keep a working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, and responsibilities for compliance.
Inform senior management of any shifts in Delta’s risk profile.
ensure the successful implementation of controls and requirements for information security.
Lead the process of assessing information security, incorporating Delta’s culture and risk profile with the best practices of the industry.

At Delta, work together and partner with other risk organizations. Where possible, align IT Risk’s approach with Delta’s risk tolerance and risk management strategy.

Utilize industry best practices for internal assessments, monitoring, detection, and remediation in information security for evaluation, implementation, and dissemination.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is what will give you a competitive edge (preferable qualifications).

Experience working with RSA Archer or another GRC tool that is comparable to it are all examples of professional certifications.
