Description of Job:
To join our practice in January 2025, the Mental Pain and Trauma Centers are seeking a full-time, remote psychological postdoctoral fellow based in California. The individual will provide personal injury clients with psychotherapy.
In addition to participating in monthly staff meetings, the fellow will receive psychotherapy training, supervision and mentorship on a weekly and as-needed basis from a doctoral-level psychologist who is appropriately licensed and experienced.

The fellow will be required to see between 5 and 7 patients each day, which will include writing progress notes, weekly supervision, and direct face-to-face interactions with clients. We anticipate that this fellowship will last between 12 and 15 months, with holidays and paid time off. Although this is not a formal APA-accredited program, the fellow will be thoroughly prepared to apply for full state licensure upon completion.
Responsibilities:
Visit five to seven patients each day. Write carefully crafted and in-depth therapy notes.
Participate in weekly supervision and monthly staff meetings, as well as any other pertinent administrative tasks that may be required.
Effectively and promptly communicate with other employees.
Qualifications:
obtaining a doctoral degree in clinical psychology (PsyD or PhD) that is accredited by the APA.
completing a pre-doctoral internship that is accredited by the APA.
strong background in research
A plus is knowing Spanish.
