Job Description:

The Brand Media team at Hulu is looking for a Media Planner to join the team.

You will be expected to contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of integrated media recommendations for a variety of Brand, Live, and Licensed marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this position is enthusiastic not only about expanding Hulu’s business but also about media and television.

This is a great position for you if you have experience managing entertainment media campaigns, are well-organized, and enjoy working cross-functionally.

Responsibilities Manage every facet of media campaigns, including but not limited to: media planning, budget management, establishing and assessing key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, testing objectives, and monitoring and evaluating performance across all channels (Broadcast, Radio, Outdoor, Digital, Programmatic, Social, etc.)

Provide suggestions to enhance strategies, tactics, visibility, and results by working closely with the media team.

Keep up with industry and media trends (such as audience insights, viewership trends, competitive information, and so on) to help construct strategies for going to market.

Drive unique creative visions forward by collaborating closely with Marketing to put creative strategies and breakthrough ideas into action.

Work with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase performance and pivot in real time. Perform weekly campaign optimizations and performance analyses against campaign goals.

Develop a robust approach to total communications in collaboration with the agency’s cross-functional team.

Ensure that media campaigns are linked to overall campaign goals by working with media and marketing managers on brand and licensed priorities.

Help managers with the campaign by driving kickoff calls, creative tracking, billing, and assisting with the scope of work.

Basic Requirements: More than three years of experience planning integrated media for entertainment brands

a solid foundation in all media channels and an understanding of integrated media planning

Flexibility; the capacity for creative problem-solving and the desire to pivot in real time—finding the yes rather than saying no.

ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.

mentality that is self-motivated, resourceful, and works well in a team environment.

excellent communication abilities with both internal teams and vendors from the outside.

proficient in Google Docs in addition to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Based on a 40-hour work week, the salary range for this Santa Monica, California, position is $63,400 to $85,000 per year. The requirements of the business may influence the number of scheduled hours per week. The actual base pay will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, and experience related to the job, and other factors. Depending on the level and position offered, the compensation package may include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
