Summary:

New York Edge is looking for Data Specialists who will be in charge of all site-level data entry for a specific program. The Community School Director and New York Edge will rely heavily on the data specialist to run reports and keep track of data that details the program’s successes, highlights, and weaknesses.

Monday through Friday, up to 20 hours per week; must be available to work from 2:30 to 6 pm after school hours

$20-$25 per hour (pay varies depending on experience, education, and qualifications) Primary Job Functions:

Create class rosters and keep track of attendance on a weekly basis, record attendance in all required systems, and use Data Reporting to help the Community School Director improve programming. Enroll all participants in required web-based databases in a timely and accurate manner. Enter the schedule and label activities.
Help the Community School Director ensure that the program is in compliance and in good standing with key stakeholders by creating systems to keep track of all documents. Secondary Job Functions:

Participate in quarterly trainings and produce regular reports to support the After School Program Director. Be aware of the mission of New York Edge, as well as the goals and requirements of each program, and work to ensure that they are met. Act as a chaperone on field trips. Interacts with: Knowledge and skills required for Community School Directors, Data Managers, Data Coordinators, Students, Teachers, and School Administration:

Ability to multitask and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with program staff. Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills. Responsible and professional conduct that serves as a role model for staff and youth. Exhibits strong character traits and exercises patience while being creative to solve challenges. Must be able to switch to an at-home or remote work model if needed. Computer literacy. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

Use of online databases, previous experience with ETO Software, DYCD Online, and/or Youth Services a plus, and at least one year of database experience are required. Paid Time Off: Schedule: From $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
