In the New York office, Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Support Specialist I.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for providing technical support to the firm’s attorneys, guests, and professional staff using your technical and customer service skills in this position. Your duties will include:
Respect the firm’s policies and procedures regarding IT, risk management, human resources, workplace respect, and client confidentiality.

All attorneys, staff, and guests should be treated with professionalism and respect.
All IT work requests should have incident tickets submitted, resolved, and followed up on. If you need assistance or the issue cannot be resolved immediately, escalate it to the service desk, Team Lead, IT manager, or Regional Head of IT Services.

Set up new hire offices, distribute equipment to fully remote workers, process new hires, program phone extensions, and set up equipment. Facilitate onboarding. This includes keeping track of access security cards and issuing them when required by office operations.

Loaner computers and devices can be issued and accounted for as needed.

Support for video conferences; includes upgrading hardware and firmware, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, service calls, and the like.

Encourage client-sponsored events and local marketing.

Establish and assist in war rooms and depositions. As needed, may request offsite trial support from time to time.
As required for coverage, provide onsite and/or remote support to other offices.
Assist in any additional tasks or projects that are required, keeping in mind the scope of responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Experience of at least one year in IT or Service Desk support is required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS, Android, and Apple MacOS in general.
general familiarity with the Microsoft Software Suite
Comprehension of Organization and IoT.

Benefits and Salary: This position is expected to pay between $51,000 and $67,000.

Orrick is committed to offering our attorneys and staff a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package wherever they work. The Orrick’s estimate at the time of publication is the basis for this compensation and benefits information, which may change in the future. A variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, and geography, will determine the range’s pay level. An annual discretionary merit bonus that would be based on individual and company performance could be another form of compensation.
