It will be expected of the instructor to communicate effectively in both group settings and one-on-one student coaching or advising sessions.

As assigned, assist the Lead Instructor in teaching Information Technology to class populations of varying sizes using Resident, online, or hybrid academic delivery methods.
Coach and advise students one-on-one to achieve academic, attendance, and certification success using a variety of communication methods, including phone, chat, email, text, video, or in-person, verbal, and written communication.
In order to successfully pass each class and meet standards at evaluation times, make sure assigned student cohorts meet academic performance and attendance requirements.
Help the Lead Instructor manage the certification progress of students by tutoring them, issuing Golden Tickets, assisting them with exam scheduling, and communicating with them about exam results.
Respond promptly and accurately to questions and concerns raised by students.
Keep a record of all student communications and issues.
Assigned, actively manage the tutoring and assistance for students in campus or online Flex rooms, including opening and closing online Flex rooms.
Work together with the Lead Instructor to plan, prepare, and carry out the curriculum as well as the instructional activities in order to provide students with an exceptional educational and training experience each time they attend class, preparing them for their certification exams.
In accordance with the published syllabus, collaborate with the Lead Instructor to establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
Make use of current technology to help with instruction.
In order to resolve issues that students are having with their learning management system, you should communicate with the technology administrator.
Engage in professional development to incorporate current industry trends into the classroom environment. Instruct, monitor, and assist with troubleshooting students’ use of learning materials and equipment.
Follow the school’s policies and disciplinary procedures to enforce discipline and manage student behavior.
Participate in pilot programs, share ideas, give constructive feedback in formal and informal meetings, and help maintain or implement new learning activities or curricula to improve the academic and training program.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A bachelor’s degree, preferably in information technology or a field related to it; or a combination of training and work experience.
Graduates of MyComputerCareer are preferred.
a minimum of six months’ work experience in the IT sector.
It is preferable to have previous experience managing student certifications, completion, and attendance.
Experience with the Canvas Learning Management System’s troubleshooting is preferred.
