Job Description:
The Key Account Manager is crucial in developing strategic relationships with accounts in ADLINK’s target vertical industries in the Northwest that are involved in Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) or Original Design Manufacturing (ODM). The Key Account Manager will sign on new customers of a similar nature and ensure that existing customers are satisfied. The Key Account Manager will be accountable for achieving account targets and sales quotas.
Include, but are not limited to, the following essential job functions:
Create brand-new OEM/ODM accounts and actively seek out opportunities to enhance customer relationships and add value.
As quarterback, play a crucial role in meeting the needs of key account customers and coordinating resources to win the business.

Be a reliable advisor who has a thorough understanding of the customer’s requirements for lowering their total cost of ownership, mitigating business risks, and strengthening their position in the market.
Exceed quarterly and annual targets, such as sales revenue, design win quantity, design win revenue, and new customer engagements, among others.
Upselling and cross-selling ADLINK’s components, boards, systems, solutions, engineering, and DMS services is a great way to enter vertical markets.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and field questions.
Through consistent, productive account calls, ensure customer satisfaction and customer retention; and structure, negotiate, and conclude deals that meet the requirements of customers.
Travel is required for this position, even though it is a remote position (customer meetings within the territory, annual sales events, etc.).

Education:
a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a field related to it, or training that is comparable.
Experience:
Managing OEM/ODM and Business-to-Business relationships in computer and electronic manufacturing companies requires at least five years of successful key account management experience or work in a similar capacity.
Proven record of acquiring OEM and ODM customers and selling computer hardware solutions.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:
ability to build and maintain relationships with executives.
excellent at selling strategically and taking the initiative in high-level sales interactions.
Capacity to create leads, infiltrate new records and create and deal with a pipeline.
Excellent skills in writing, speaking, and presenting information.
