What you’ll be doing As a Financial Consultant (Retirement Consultant), you’ll be a part of our expanding Empower Personal Wealth sales team and help our customers through important life events. For our clients’ retirement savings objectives, our Financial Consultants offer advice on 401(k) and IRA account options. We at Empower support taking control of your career. Your overall income potential will rise as a result of the possibility of promotion to Senior Financial Consultant for new financial consultants. The opportunity to earn a generous salary exists because the compensation package includes a base salary and incentive compensation. The incentive component of the compensation will be variable and linked to specific Empower-set sales-related objectives.

Educate our customers on information specific to their retirement plan, comparing options to best support their savings goals Focus on deepening customer relationships with Empower What you will bring Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience Minimum of one year experience in sales, preferably inside sales Current FINRA licenses and/or ability to successfully obtain FINRA 7 & 63 registrations within corporate-established timelines and complete FINRA fingerprinting upon hire Problem-solving skills and the ability to engage with customers,
The ability to quickly learn new systems and prior experience with SalesForce are pluses. A solid understanding of IRAs, retirement investment products and services, and the environment of qualified retirement plans. A growth mindset to achieve team and company sales goals.

Base Salary Range: $52,000.00 – $64,000.00 The salary range that can be found above represents the typical range of base pay for this position in the location that is listed. A bonus program is open to people in positions other than sales. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives and, in some cases, bonus plans. Depending on individual performance, total compensation may significantly exceed base salary. Based on factors such as location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level, the final compensation package will be made available at the time of offer.
