The majority of our cases involve individual wage and hour disputes as well as class or PAGA cases brought by plaintiffs. There is no requirement for billable hours, but your cases are checked weekly to make sure they are moving forward strongly. Those who successfully complete their probationary period can choose from a hybrid work schedule with three office days.

Tasks of an Associate or Senior Attorney:
– Be able to identify and explain legal violations of the California Labor Code. – Work with a senior attorney to develop case strategies. – Prepare for and defend depositions on your own. – Keep an accurate and up-to-date calendar. – Move cases quickly and effectively through litigation, mediation, or trial. – Draft damage and penalty reports with the help of an expert.
– Be able to independently prepare for arbitration evidentiary hearings and draft motions for approval of preliminary/final and PAGA settlements Skills:
– At least two years of experience in wage and hour litigation is required. – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. – Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. – Proficient in legal research software and tools.
For each completed case, a significant discretionary bonus is offered in addition to base pay. The bonus is at least 5% of what you paid for attorneys’ fees, and it can be higher or lower depending on how well you can handle the case on your own.
