Hourly Rate for IB Assessment Proctors: Temp Position, $20-$30 per hour – Applicants must be available for all of the following dates and times, though specific hours may be altered based on testing requirements:

From January 23 to February 7, 2025, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.;

AND April 25, 2025–May 21, 2025, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. (For any interested candidates, additional substitute teaching at our main campus may be considered as additional work options between these two testing times as February and April) Position Description Dwight School, an innovative coeducational preschool–grade 12 school in the Upper Westside of Manhattan, is currently offering in-person and remote academic programming for the 2020–21 school year. As a professional member, the Test Proctor oversees the organization and management of the Dwight School testing locations’ testing rooms under the direction of the IB Diploma Program Coordinators and in collaboration with Dwight School faculty. The Test Proctor is in charge of proctoring and giving standardized tests to groups and individuals while also keeping the testing environment quiet. When faculty or staff require it, the Test Proctor is in charge of following the standard testing procedure. Separately, some proctors will be used to facilitate AP exams that will be held in a different location. The locations are the Dwight School Athletic Center on the Upper East Side and our Main Campus on the Upper West Side.

Responsibilities Maintains a quiet and secure testing environment; Maintains daily testing schedules, records, and test files; Maintains the confidentiality and safety of all test materials, test logs, and other test documents; Comprehends and adheres to test procedures. works with all students, including those who require special accommodations, such as reading tests, scribing tests, or providing special testing climate, and complies with academic integrity policies and procedures. Returns testing materials to the appropriate instructors or agencies as required. Works with faculty to have information and materials to proctor exams in a timely manner.
Attends all required training and promptly reports all communication to center staff. Works independently and responsibly in the absence of supervision. Performs any other duties or tasks as directed by Dwight. Previous experience working in educational settings is preferred but not required.
