Detailed description of the position Overview of the Patient Management Specialist Position:

We are an online pharmacy that works with self-insured businesses to provide employees with specialty medications at prices that are more affordable. This is an office position with some schedule flexibility. Three days of the week in-office, Friday and Monday are compulsory.

We are looking for a Patient Management Specialist who is very detail-oriented and well-organized to join our healthcare organization. This position’s primary responsibility is to oversee the administrative aspects of patient care. This includes making certain that patient appointments, records, and other processes that are related to them are managed efficiently and coordinated.

The Patient Management Specialist will be essential in enhancing patient experiences and enabling efficient communication between healthcare professionals, patients, and various departments.

Bonus if you have previous experience in pharmacy technology, customer service, or telecommunications!

Responsibilities:

Coordination of Patient Appointments: To ensure effective resource utilization and patient flow, schedule appointments, consultations, and follow-ups for patients.
Confirm and remind patients of upcoming shipments and medication modifications, as well as provide any necessary documentation or instructions.

Qualifications:

(or equivalent experience) bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a field related thereto.
