Associates in this position will learn how to greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in their department. They will also learn how to handle basic tasks in departments that are adjacent to theirs. Sales and customer service employees make certain that assigned areas are clean, safe, and stocked with goods.
By adhering to all safety policies and standards, completing required safety training, immediately correcting hazards and unsafe conditions or reporting them to the Manager on Duty, and working safely so as not to put themselves, coworkers, vendors, or customers in danger, each associate is responsible for creating a safe shopping and working environment. These associates collaborate with the supervisor of their department, other associates in their department, and associates from other departments. Sales Specialist, Sales Associate, and Customer Service Associate are examples of specific positions.
