The Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator is in charge of monitoring cameras, security access and anti-theft devices, intrusion, radio communication, and fire life safety systems. They report to the Assistant Manager of Safety & Security. You will report any deviations from normal operating procedures to a supervisor and keep the daily Security Operations log. Additionally, in accordance with established AMMP Security Operations Center procedures, you will send resources to calls for service, emergencies, earthquake recovery, and fire protection measures. Safety & Security Associate posts, which include walking around the museum and working static posts like the staff entrance and the museum store, may also be scheduled for SOC Operators.

The Flex Shift Schedule includes:

Swing (from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays) and Night (from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).

be assigned to a regular or specialized SOC position; tasks might change everyday and without notice.
Keep an eye on access control, security surveillance cameras, and art protection systems.
Operate an IP-based telephone system and answer phones.
Utilize multi-channel communication and operate a radio.

Observe activity and immediately report any discrepancies (such as suspicious activity, security breaches, safety hazards in the facility, and emergency situations).

Requirements and Requirements:

a certificate of completion or a high school diploma that is comparable.
SOC Operator experience of at least one year is required.
Security license or guard card in accordance with state regulations.

a typing speed of 45WPM on average.

Physical necessities:

The anticipated hourly base rate for this position is $21.50. Experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other legally permissible factors will all play a role in determining the actual base pay that is offered.
